According to information from Ukraine’s juvenile prosecutors, published by the Office of the Prosecutor General, 695 children were victims of sexual abuse in 2024

Age distribution:

  • The largest group of victims were children aged 10–14 years — 57%
  • Teenagers aged 15–18 years — 23%
  • Children under 5 years old — 3%
  • Children aged 5–9 years — 17%

By gender:

  • 85% were girls
  • 15% were boys

These numbers are just the tip of the iceberg, as many cases remain unreported due to fear, war, social taboos, and a lack of trust in the system.
