The Emergency Interim Reparations Project for Survivors of Conflict-Related Sexual Violence Committed by Russian Military Personnel is being implemented by the Global Survivors Fund.

We are pleased to share that a family who survived occupation and was affected by military actions — including suffering sexual violence by Russian soldiers — has successfully received support. Child Rescue provided the necessary assistance: psychological support, as well as legal aid from an attorney who documented the crimes and helped submit the reparations application.

Reparations are more than financial compensation. They represent international recognition of the pain endured, condemnation of the crimes, and tangible proof that survivors are not left alone with their tragedy. These steps help survivors feel supported, heard, and empowered to begin their healing journey.

Initiatives like this not only restore justice but also give a voice to those who have not yet been heard.
