Kherson resident who raped his partner's young daughter is sentenced to life imprisonment

Thanks to the efforts of the child's lawyer from the NGO Children's Rescue Service, we achieved another significant victory: the perpetrator of the girl who suffered from sexual exploitation and abuse (SEN) has been sentenced to life imprisonment.

The court also ordered him to pay the child moral compensation in the amount of 700,000 UAH.

Under the public prosecution of juvenile prosecutors from the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, the court found the man guilty of committing a series of crimes against the sexual freedom and inviolability of a person under the age of fourteen (Part 4, 6 of Article 152, Part 2 of Article 156, Parts 1, 4 of Article 301-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

This significant achievement was made possible through close collaboration with the Investigation Unit of the Main Department of the National Police in Kherson Region, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, and other services involved in the protection of children's rights.

Our team of specialists also provided the girl with the necessary social and psychological support, helping her recover and reintegrate into social life.
