We are grateful for the opportunity to participate in the discussion at the forum "Free Legal Assistance for Children During the War: Steps Towards Improvement," held on December 17-18, 2024. The Executive Director of Child Rescue, Yulia Sachenko, took part in the discussion on the topic "Intersectoral Cooperation. Ensuring Access to Free Legal Assistance in Cases of Protecting and Restoring Rights, Meeting the Individual Needs of Children in Wartime Conditions."

The discussion became an important platform for exchanging experiences between different sectors working with children affected by the war. We explored mechanisms for effective cooperation between government institutions, non-governmental organizations, and human rights defenders to ensure children's rights and their safety.

We thank the organizers — the Coordination Center for Legal Aid and the OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine — for organizing such an important event.
